Rochon Sands Community is a Lake front community on Buffalo Lake which is located NE of Red Deer Alberta. The lake boasts great fishing (Northern Pike and Ling Cod). Water sports are also welcome at the lake with two boat launches right in the community of Rochon Sands. If you take a short walk down Sands Street you will find a beautiful provincial park and campground one way and a snack shack and marina beach the other. The community has many family friendly events that play out throughout the summer at the Rochon Sands Hall.
